body wash

I'm eight weeks pregnant and I was wondering can I use summer Eve's body wash to wash down there?

I use Femfresh or Vagisil, special vaginal washes because soaps cause urinary tract infections for me and the thought of just using water and nothing else grosses me out a bit and I wouldn't feel clean. These washes are ph balanced and I've used them for months now without any irritation or urinary tract infections occurring which is pretty good especially considering I'm pregnant and you're more prone to those sorts of things. I'm not sure if they are called the same name in America (I'm from aus) but just look in the pads and tampon section at the supermarket and it should be there.

it is best to clean the vaginal area just with water - nothing else is needed. Soaps and body washes can trigger yeast infections. Douching causes far more infections than it prevent through "cleaning" - ask your OB

I never use soap so your ok with any form of body wash, but it do irritate some ppl when they are pregnant, so try it and see how it works for you

Something my aunt put in my head. She makes me nervous. She told me that I'm not supposed to use it.
