boy or girl?

So I went just for an ultra sound at 12 weeks 2 days (I'm now 25 weeks 4 days) however at that ultra sound the technician told me I was having a boy, we started preparing for a boy.... at 22 weeks I had another ultra sound, saying it's a girl! So now I'm a little confused... everyone says I'm carrying"high" which they all say it means it's a boy, is that a myth? Carrying high means it's a boy and low a girl?

It's an old wife's tale, it doesn't matter how you carry depending on the sex. I would go with the latter of the two ultrasound because you were so early with your first ultrasound.

At 12w baby is far too small and undeveloped to accurately decipher the gender. Girl parts can be swollen and look like boy parts. I would definitely go with the second u/s as baby is now a lot bigger and developed

I carried exactly the same with both pregnancies and one was a boy and one was a girl. The second ultra sound tech would of seen alot more development seen as you were further along I would imagine. X

Ok, I just wanted to see only because to me it just sounds like a wives tale... I think we will keep with our second ultra sound... I'm carrying pretty high, all belly, and they say she is a girl!

Lol at 12 weeks is not accurate! Everyone told me that if your carrying high means a girl but if it's a boy probably he's in breech etc. But it's myrrh really. I'm carrying low and having a boy....

She just smiled, when I told her it was a girl the second time I was told. I don't feel like this doctor is much help to me... not the best vibes.
