Something I just remembered, I think alot of hospitals or la Leche groups will loan or rent out breast pumps so u could maybe see if there is anything like that in ur area to try before u possibly buy a 200 pump u end up hating.
I have a medela... You can use batteries or plug it in, it comes in a backpack (so nobody has to know what it is) and it's got a let down function that keeps your milk going and it's a double pump so it cuts your time in half... I personally love it... I used it when i had my daughter and I'm going to use it this time too :-D... I hate hand pumps I feel like they take forever.
I used manual I also got a battery one to try thinking it'd be less work when my leave was over the battery one took alot more focus and I still didn't get half as much. Also we I was pumping at work there are no outlets and I don't wanna get stuck with dead batteries so u might factor that in what environment ull be using it in. I plan on using a manual one again this time too.
It is really a personal choice. I like manual but most prefer electric. Also depends on how u r using it. If you are only pumping you need a certain kind that makes sure to encourage you milk supply to replenish. Also for my breasts I need to buy different shields than comes with it as they are not big enough and cause a lot of pain. So if you are worried about the size not working for you find one that sells other size sheilds you can place in. I use Medela for this reason.
