Sonogram question

I had my first sonogram last week. They scheduled me for a "NT" sonogram early February. Does anyone know what this means?

Nuchal translucency....is what it stands for...spelling might be off...they measure the fluid on the back of the neck...if it is above a certain measurement, to the length fo the ababy, along with results from blood tests at ur ob it could mean increase risk for down syndrome...mine didn't tell me anything at the us, I just googled the measurement to see where my baby was at....not completely accurate either

It's a sono to check for down syndrome. Just so you know even if they say there is a chance of it there not always right
