Hello ladies,
Have any of you breastfed and given your baby formula at the same time? ? ? Would you rather stick to one or was it beyter to do both?

If you're able to breast feed you should stick with it. Although the babys stool might be loose, breast milk is still easier on the tummy and easy to digest.
Gassiest isn't too much if a big deal, it's natural, but with formula it increases and digestion is a little difficult.
With formula some moms that are new to it sometimes don't understand that no matter what formula you use your baby will be gassier because if it's ingredients so switching won't always help.

It depends. With my first child she was only on formula and it was a bit stressful cause sometimes we would run out and have to run and get some or there was a recall on some brands, etc. With my daughter now (she's a month old) we're only giving her breast milk even if I have to pump it. At first we did both formula and breast milk (she had tongue tied so it was excruciating to feed her) and she accepted both , but with the formula she would be a little more fussier than she is now with my milk. But now I really enjoy breastfeeding I feel closer to her. However like I said it depends on how your baby reacts to either or. I hope this helped.

It really just depends on what works best for you and your baby. You may not be able to breastfeed at all, who knows.
My son is 15 months and he's still on the breast and he's never touched formula as there was no need, I had enough milk.
I couldn't pump though, would take a good hour just to get 50 or so mls.
If I i as unable to breastfeed I'd give formula. I'm hoping I can feed again with this second baby and I'm really positive I'll be able to.
