it's probably just your sciatic nerve being irritated which can be common and a  normal occurance during pregnancy.  My doctor said if you can tolerated pain just to deal with it otherwise if its too painful they can send you to do physical therapy. I've had problems with this the past week and this is what I was told being 28 weeks along

Definitely sounds like the baby is lying on your sciatic nerve. My first son did that and it was horrible that I could barely walk without crying until he changed his position. I've had it slightly with this pregnancy but not as bad. The pain would shoot from my back down to my left knee and practically make my leg give out.

Are you feeling better today? I know last night you were pretty nervous about the heartbeat. I cant help but feel like I set you up for failure since I told you to try it and you had problems with the doppler.

I am thinking sciatic nerve too. I believe its just your body growing with baby and sometimes it causes that nerve to get pinched. It gets worse the further along you get typically

I think it can just be affected when your pregnant. I know people who aren't pregnant and have sciatica and it is supposidly painful. Not too sure if this is actually why you are experiencing but I know there's a pain that goes into your butt. Maybe ask your dr just to be sure. I know to worse when you're further along because the baby sits on the nerve
