breastfeeding question

So I am 32 weeks with my second child and this time I have decided to breastfeed this baby.. and I really want to start taking my vita pack after I have him.. it helps with my metabolsim and shread weight with vitamins included nothing big like hydroxicut or any of that stuff.. so would it be safe to take while breastfeeding? Like what are the dos and donts for it I don't want to harm my babh in any way.. anything kind of advice and facts will help. Thanks in advance

My doc made it a point to tell me to continue to take prenatal vitamins and no less than 1800 calories a day ur calorie requirements might be different though

I'm not sure what a Vita Pack is.
I don't have a sufficient diet to provide for myself and baby, so I'll be staying on prenatal vitamins for the entire time of breastfeeding my little one. Maybe you can opt to continue prenatal vitamins rather than switching to a different product?
I asked my OB a few weeks ago because my heart is really set on breastfeeding and I knew I couldn't eat right for baby, and he said there's no reason I shouldn't be able to continue taking the prenatals to continue providing for baby.

Thank you very much for your advice.. I do keep hearing ill loose a good bit of weight while breastfeeding.. but if I can't take the GNC ripped vitapak ill still continue to breastfeed. Abbb01

Vita pak? What is that thru? I would take it into doc beforehand and just ask them to look it over and maybe look up some of the unknown or questionable ingredients but u still need a certain amount of calories u need more than during pregnancy or else ur supply will suffer. I lost all but 5lbs of the baby weight and I gained over 50 during pregnancy but gained back 20 after I weaned :( good luck I'm sure ull be glad u did it!
