breastmilk and formula

Is it OK to feed my daughter breast milk and formula? I am planning on breastfeeding and pumping but just in case something comes up and my husband has to feed her is formula ok or will that upset her stomach?

It's ok to do both. Just remember to pump anytime you give a bottle or you risk decreasing your supply.

I breastfed and did formula supplements the first day I had him and after I think it helps both mommy and baby. Baby feels fuller and it gives you time to bulbs up your milk.. That's what they told me in the hospital

Yes definitely fine.  Formula takes longer to digest so baby stays satisfied for longer.

All depends on the baby. In general breast milk is easier to digest but in my view baby needs a full tummy no matter what!  Make sure you follow instructions on the tin to the t and get the correct formula for age. And of course thoroughly clean and sterilise bottles,  boobies keep milk nice and clean, bottles not so much.
