Just have to share how I feel :-) ... So today my babygirl is 5 weeks old and today I had a breastfeeding class at 1:00 pm but I was a lil late so I had to wait for the class to be done and had a one on one with the lactation consultant which was even better ... Everytime I put my baby on my breast it would hurt soooo much not the whole time I was breastfeeding so the lady showed me how to put her on properly she was alse surprised of how much milk I have she said its a blessing because it was a whole lot just coming and and my baby wouldnt wake up so we could put her on ... But anyways she showed me ways how to get her to latch on properly ( im a ftm and it has just been me with no one around to really help me or show me) soo this lady was a big help .. I got home and waited for my baby to wake up and I did just what the lady told me and it didnt hurt at all :-) which was awesome is like taking a step forward andmotivation to not give up and not stop breastfeeding because I love breastfeeding I know my baby is getting the best and because of how things were going I just felt like giving up and just feedher formula but im glad I kept trying and thanks to that lady as well ... Breastfeeding seems to get better now for me and baby .. She alse stayed longer on the breast b4 falling sleep & no more pain for me :-) ....

So happy for you!!! See all it takes is a little education and determination :-) I went to a few of those breast feeding support groups when I was in nursing school (as part of my clinical rotation) and its amazing how much those women know about boobs! Lol I'm so glad you went and can now breast feed comfortably.

I'm so happy for you.  I'm glad you and baby are doing well.  I recall you had her a bit early (your story stuck with me because I was also due on april 10th) so it's really great to hear you both are happy and healthy.  My daughter is 9 days old now and thank God we've been doing well with breastfeeding also.
