brown blood

I am 25 and my husband and I found out this past weekend that we are having a baby! Monday morning I had some spotting of brown blood that seemed to go away as the day went on. This has happened every day since. Is this normal or should I be worried. We don't have our first appointment until April 16th so I'm not sure what to think. We want to tell our families so bad but now I'm nervous to since I have this bit of brown blood. I have had many other pregnancy symptoms already (back hurts, hips are killing me, some morning sickness) is this just another symptom?

Doctor said it's fine and is normal especially after sex. I just have to look out for it turning red. So glad we are in the clear for now. Thank you all for the advice and support! Super excited.

That happened to me . I called my doctors office and told them what was going on and they brought me in earlier. They did an early scan. Maybe give them another call?

Always be sure to get any bleeding or spotting checked out by a doctor let then decide if it is normal or not what's normal in one pregnancy is not in another I had brown spotting with my first pregnancy and I miscarried so in my case spotting was a sign that something was wrong not just old blood it's always better to be safe than sorry and if you are experiencing spotting make sure to bed and pelvic rest drink plenty of fluids till it goes away
