burn when urinating

I've never had a UTI or yeast infextion before. I once had a kidney infection (doctor said it was a uti that had no symptoms and progressed to my kidneys]. I drink lots of water daily. I had sex last week and a couple days later i get a burning sensation when i pee. Its not excruciating but noticeable. Could it be a uti? How does that effect pregnancy? Im a firat time mom, 9 weeks. Do i call my obgyn or primary doctor who i barely see? Thanks ladies.

Call your primary care giver and do a urine sample. Mine started out somewhat painful but by the end of the day was excruciating.

Just by some uti satches.. In Australia the brand is Urinal i think. It doesn't hurt to use it even if you don't have it.. it's harmless in pregnancy. It can't hurt to try it. UTI's i hear are very common in pregnancy.
