So, I went to the er to day and found out I had bv.
They have me gel to put inside myself. It's leaking out tho.
Am I supposed to just lay in bed after I insert it?

They did a vagina swab. I thought it was a really bad yeast infection. Because it didn't smell and it was thick chunky discharge. I'm glad I got checked tho. A day of medicine and I already feel so much better down there.

Best to use ar bedtime....no reason to get up when you're in bed for the night. Wear a pad... :)

Bv commonly has a fishy odor associated with it, especially after you have sex. Ive had BV twice before (not while pregnant) and both times I had a white discharge and a fishy smell. I was given metronidazole pills for 7 days to treat it.

Yeast infection can also have a white discharge but it will smell yeasty, can be "chunky/thick, itches/burns and can be very uncomfortable. I hate getting a yeast infection omg im miserable the whole time. Lol

I had bv but they gave me the pill instead. Its just like the yeast infection stuff its gonna drip down.try laying down and relaxing.

I knew I had it because I had to get a pap when I switched doctors. I didn't have an odor or anything but odors are associated with bv. Go get tested.

Hey. How did they know you had bv? I have a real foul odor and I'm hoping it's not bv and just an yeast infection... I'm going to my appt till Monday they'll be close this week..

And use a pantyliner to prevent it staining your underwear :)

Just pop it in  the very last thing at night when your laying in bed. It will clear up in no time.x

Most likely. I had stuff for a yeast infection and I was told to put it in before bed or it will just all come out and not be effective. I'd just use it before bed

No it will leak but it will be okay I had bv not to long ago good luck
