Im so freaked out by my c section scar. It was a v traumatic ordeal for me to be honest was emergency section and broke my heart i had to have one. Anyways my question is what do you use on yojr scar to help it disappear quicker and how long before u could touch it im 20wk pp and still freaked out to touch it. Its the most tidy scar ever etc i know its just my aversion to it. Any tips?

I was cut hip to hip with my first and they cut me at a angel. You can't see my scar now but I hang low on one side from the downward cut. But I liked at my scar as I was still healing and still do but I get very sad when I do

Mine took a lot longer to heal due to the massive weight drop after I delivered. I had pain in it after my menstrual cycle each month. That was 7 years ago and the pain just quit a little over a year ago and having another c-section next month. It just depends on the person. Hope I heal quicker this time!! Good luck to you.

All of you ladies with fading scars are lucky. I never messed with putting anything on it. My scar from my last is almost 2 years old and still very thick and pink. It turned into a keloid. I am having another c section in 8 weeks. Dr is cutting old scar out and injecting steroid into new incision to promote better healing.

It took me a year to actually touch or even look at mine.  I would just dab wash it in shower and overted my eyes when in front of a mirror.  But when I did finally look I was amazed how faded it was.
