I'm not ready!

Holy cow, I don't know where the time went! I know some of this is because of high risk/bladder complications for my little guy so we're looking at 38 weeks best case scenario for a c-section, but all of a sudden all of the different doctors are talking about being a month out from delivery but could be anytime in February and I just realized today I am sooo not ready.

The crib is still in the box...we still haven't picked up the mattress. We've put off the baby shower until about a month after he's born because he may/may not have to have surgery right after so I have very little clothes/diapers because I was thinking I'd get some of that from the shower. I keep feeling like...geesh I'm a second time mom here...I should have known better! I don't even have my hospital bag packed...even though I have weekly appointments (have been for about 12 weeks) and could have to be admitted anytime. I think with my first I was packed and everything ready at like 24 weeks or something like that.

Anyone else close to the end and feeling completely unprepared?

I'm the same way with my third. I do have plenty of clothes from my first, at least. I haven't gotten anything else yet. I'm stressing a little, eventhough I'm not due until march.

I deliver my baby by c-section this Thursday and I'm mentally not prepared. I have everything put up and ready for him but I'm just not ready mentally. I have an almost 3 year old and I just don't know how it will go.

oh and I have to travel two hour to the hospital and everyone keeps asking when I will get a hotel room. I tell them I am living dangerously and go in as soon as I see mucous plug and pains although I am high risk. yes with my first I had everything all set and packed a month before baby was born this time not even close to being ready. but still can't wait to hold him soon

I'm right there with you. I'm due Feb 7th with my second. I have 19 days, but I don't have anything ready, I have a few diapers and hand me downs for my second man, but no crib, a nett, but its not set up. My bag is half packed, lol and I still have to find a place for big brother to hang out during all of hospital stay. We need to get our butts in gear. At least that's what I tell myself everyday.
