Hello! Im 20 weeks pregnant and a few weeks begin to smoke marijuana again... Used as a patient before but stopped because of pregnancy.
How bad could that make?
Are there big risks?

I know there are risks associated with smoking during pregnancy. But when I was pregnant with my daughter I was so sick and continuously losing weight. I was honest with my ob about my use and eventually started gaining weight. He was happy with how my daughter was growing and when she was born she had no issues and her weight was good as well.  She is now 9 and she has been the healthiest out of my 3 kids. My ob checked her out a little more extensively when she was born but that's about it.  Everyone has their own opinion about it, but if your honest with your doctor about your use and don't try to hide it things won't be as bad. Make sure to continue your prenatal vitamins and eat as healthy as possible. Don't use it excessively if you can help it, but do what you need to do to handle your symptoms. Just remember to talk to your ob about. And a heads up, any use could end up getting child protective service involved, but open communication with your provider is going to be key. I hope this eases your fears even just a little, I know I didn't completely answer your question though... Sorry...
