Sickness at 35 weeks.

Hello ladies,

Wondering if anyone has experienced this and can give me some survival tips please as its really upsetting me atm.

I feel blessed to be carrying my little baby and I know I am at the final stretch but this sickness is horrendous.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum suffer had sickness from the onset of pregnancy until 29 weeks. Could just about function and have come to terms with the fact I cant do things holding on to it all changing once little one is born.

For the past three weeks sickness has returned with avengeance accompanied by severe heart burn. Ive tried some meds but cant keep them down long enough to take effect. It has just hit me that the last nine months I feel like my life has been controlled by this sickness, my little boy has missed out on time with his mammy and Ive pretty much been in isolation as I cant stay awake long enough to see friends and family. I love my new baby and cant wait to meet him and hold him in my arms which is helping me get through. Anything you can advise or say to help me through the next few weeks will be a blessing as Im slowly sinking with it

Some days seem better then others! I wish I could have a normal pregnancy and gain 40+lbs lol.. ice chips I never even tried that! I do try sipping on coke, it actually helps with nausea small sips. Good luck to u also hopefully u start feeling better as for me, I may be induced Thursday so maybe it's almost over:)

Yesterday totally wrecked me as I had to resort to sucking ice cubes again as my tummy was like a washing machine! Good luck and God bless, hope your little one arrives safely and your over this soon too xx

I have the same thing, a lot of people don't understand what were going through! They told me at the hospital to just try and hold down as much liquid as possible! So if I can't eat I try and just drink water throughout the day so at least he gets that! My doctor also agrees to induce at 39 weeks. Your almost their mama I know it's not easy. Just hang in their
