Can I use my stroller carrier as a car seat? When do they usually grow our of the carrier?

But you have to be careful, different countries have different standards. I live in a board town and do a lot of shopping in the states and we can't used their car seats and if you get caught you get a fine as well get charged with child endangerment as well facs will be called and could have your child taken alway from you.

Amazon has tons of options for travel systems! The ones that come with a car seat are very convenient.

Thanks ladies yeah I have a graco traveler system so I'm sure I can use it as a car seat

Travel systems are designed to be car seats and stroller carriers. Burlington Coat Factory (in store or online) sells nice travel systems for a reasonable price and have a lot of options. Also many carriers as well as strollers have weight limits so that kind of tells you when you need to get a new one. Most carriers can hold babies up to 25-30 lbs, it also depends on how fast the baby grows.

If it is designed to be than yes, as in a travel system for example.  My stroller came with the compatible base for going from stroller to car. Look for the serial number and then look it up online if not sure..or call manufacturer and give them the serial # and ask...

Carriers and carseat weight and age probably around the same thing about a year old. As for using it in the car as a seat. I dkn't think u can. I think u need to have an actual standard carseat. Walmart has nice sales on carseats ($43-70) if money is an issue. I mean it may not be the highest quality but it is considered a carseat.
