I constantly carry my 25 lb one year old because he's just learning to walk and I'm 18 wks preg.  I've been fine so far,  but I think if I keep it up I'll probably end up with bad back pain near the end of my pregnancy. So my plan is to carry him when I need to,  but encourage him as much as possible to walk or crawl when he can.

I regularly lift my 4 year old.  He weighs 47 lbs. I also sometimes lift my 50 lb 5 year old. I try not to do it often because it hurts my back now that I am mid-pregnancy, but my body is use to carrying that amount of weight.

I am lifting 50lb 4yr old and my 23 lb 18mo around all the time. I have to get them in and out of a lifted truck. no problems but since I done before I was pregnant my body use to it. Also lift 50 lbs of dog food. I am now 33 weeks and haven't had any problems. more problems from my husband complaining about me doing..lol. I tell him I pregnant not disable and need to keep my body fit for delivery.

Yeah I'm 16 almost 17 wks and still hauling my 29lb 2yr old. I worry more about when she kicks me in the stomach during diaper changes than carrying her.
