Center is the best place.
The fire station is my best bet..thanks so much ladies i appreciate it
Yes the fire department installs for free. I'm 37 weeks and haven't done it yet. Maybe next week I will take it down there and get it put in.
If you go to your local fore department or police station they can usually help you put it in and check it to make sire it's safe and secure. Most hospitals (except for a few which are certified to do it) will not assist you with installing a car seat in accordance with newer laws
Thats sad..were u able to find a better suggestion or did u end up buying a new carseat that would fit properly??
I tried mine in the car when I got it, to make sure it fit properly and didn't need any kind on adjustments...good thing I checked because the base doesn't fit without a towel rolled up and neither does the carseat by itself because of a plastic piece on the seatbelt to keep the buckle from falling to the ground...
I never put mine in the car. Everytime I went in to have my baby/ I just had my husband bring it to the hospital when I knew we were getting sent home. Before we went home the nurse would inspect the carseat and go over proper installation. Most carseats come with a base to it. So long as you have it secured well you can put it in the center, or behind you.
