carseat

I installed my carseat nd base on saturday but i put it in the middle seat but today my mom went to the fire station to see if someone was cert nd they told my mom that i put the carseat on either side by the door because of the model of my moms car. I thought that it was best to have ir in the middle in case of a car accident. How true is that???

It depends on the vehicle, my current one only has the anchors by the doors in the middle row but on the third row its only in the middle of the seat. My last car the anchors were in all three seats but recommended infant in middle and boosters by doors...

Your car needs an anchor at the top. A side seat has the lap and shoulder belt to give support. You can have the anchors installed but some cars have them built in. But the middle is the safest with it anchored. Your car seat should have an extra strap with a hook thing on it to. Hook to the anchor.
