chemical pregnancy

can chemical pregnancy be detected on HPT five days before missed peroid? or it usually needs to miss the period in order to show positive? and when shows positive ? does it then go fainter on the HPT?

Mine was not dark either. I don't think that matters. Don't stress!

thx for your replies ladies ...i just had a very faint positive on First response 6 days before my missed period..it got darker couple days later ...and the clear blue digital was positive too..but since then i dont think its getting any darker ...its not faint but not that dark ..my period is due tomorrow ..so am worried this would be a chemical pregnancy

Chemical pregenancy is not really a miscarriage but similar,  however it can be detected b4 your missed period. I know from experience

Yes it can show on an early test. That's why most people wait a couple of days to a week after a missed period to test. You will get a positive because the egg is fertilized but doesn't actually implant. Most women who don't test early would never know they miscarried and would just write it off as a late period.

Yes I had to look it up. I never heard of it. From what I just read you can't take the test and then a little while later you will get your period. This is pry why so many ppl don't even know they had a miscarriage because it was so early.

But certain tests can detect pregnancy 5 days before your missed period but not for all women. I had a negative one 4 days before my period and a positive one two days after my missed period.
