Increased Saliva

Does anyone else have increased saliva? It is the worst. I am 8 weeks and I constantly have to spit (gross). Any suggestions. I tried eating ice, sucking on peppermints but sometimes that doesn't help. When will it end?

I've had it since almost day one. Lol. I'm 30 weeks now and I still have it. Nice to know I'm not alone. :)

Thank you! I had no idea hard candy would increase it, learned something new.

Sucking on candy will only increase your saliva, since one of its primary purposes is to aid in the digestive process. I would increase you water intake and eat when you're hungry, but try to avoid grazing all day. Otherwise I think you'll have to wait it out. I imagine if you've been having any nausea the saliva issue should sort itself out when the nausea is done.
