You can make yiur own or there's alot of natural cleaning supply lines now. I use 7th generation cleaning products from target. They're around the same price as traditional cleaners and way less toxic! Plus they scored low (a good thing) on the skin deep app which grades products based on how toxic they are..
Well the one I use says on the back contains no bleach or ammonia. Should that be fine?
I've been using Mr. Clean.... should it affect my baby if I quit using it now?
I use dishsoap on counters, vinegar water and dshsoap mixture on floors, water alone on mirrors, green or natural toilet bowl cleaner that has low odor, and antibacterial cleaning wipes that I wear gloves with in the bathroom that don't smell too strong. Vinegar on counter and cutting board when sanitizing. Vinegar and baking soda paste mixture in oven and let it sit before scrubbing.
I never have used many chemicals to clean (except the bathroom). I felt it was still pretty sanitary. Some things take a little more elbow grease but you can feel confident about avoiding too many chemicals.
I dont take any chances so i use home remedies and bleach i know they are safe i use alot of vinegar and dawn i have been using these for years with small kids i didnt want to take a chance of them getting into it
I only use vinegar and water..
They always say natural stuff is best (like vinegar and baking soda), but add long as you wear gloves and have really good ventilation you should be okay.
I've been wondering the same thing.
