coffee and aniexty

Can coffee cause an aniexty attack?? I just felt really weird like im here but not really..... things looked different and I dont remember throwing away a bag of trash..... thought I left it in the bathroom......

Watch the tea as well. Black and green teas both have plenty of caffeine, especially if you like them strong. On my bad days tea can trigger anxiety attacks too. This pregnancy I've been sticking to herbal and fruit teas, only thing with caffeine I allow myself these days is chocolate, but in very limited quantities and only once in a while.

Thanks ladies :-) I think ill just stay away from it while prego..... its never affected me this way before and I to have  aniexty issues..... maybe just tea then :-)

Yes it's a stimulant and can definitely trigger anxiety

Caffeine can in fact contribute to anxiety. Hope it wears off soon x

Yes. I have an anxiety disorder and coffee triggers panic attacks.  Drink lots of water and try to take deep, slow breaths.
