It really depends upon what you get, many Starbucks coffees have way more caffeine than you should have in a day (regardless of trimester) however if you wanted to get a fancy drink that's be fine if you stick with a small.
Thank you so much... yea I havent drank any coffee in a while because I heard its bad but ive been craving it for days

200mg a day is usually the recommended limit for caffeine throughout your entire pregnancy
I would get decaf, I am an all day/ every day coffee drinker (post pregnancy) the smell of coffee makes me crave it even more but I stay away. I do however treat myself to a dunking doughnuts decaf iced coffee or star bucks decaf machiatto at least once a week.
I've had coffee every day almost of my entire pregnancy both this time and with my daughter and both kids are fine and it's espresso shots from the local coffee shop.
I drank coffee every morning up until about 2 weeks ago (I'm almost 31 weeks). The dr said it was ok as long as I wasn't drinking red bulls or downing like 4 cups a day. I also had Starbucks probably about once a week. I only stopped because I've been having trouble sleeping lately and I didn't want the caffeine to add to it. If you're craving Starbucks I say go for it!
I used to drink coffee all day everyday . Now im down to about 1 or two cups a week since finding out im prengnant. I didn't drink it all in my first trimester. From the beginning my doc told me a cup a day was fine but I tend to be a paranoid mommy.
Look up the website caffeine informer, you can put in the drink and size and get a good idea the amount of caffeine. They also have caffeine free options. Thankfully my best friend is a barista and so she makes me pregnancy safe drinks all the time :)
