cold sores
Does anyone else on here get cold sores? I was doing really great all pregnancy but now that I'm only 6 weeks away, I have been getting one every week!! It started about 2 weeks ago at 32 weeks...I'll be 34 weeks Fri. Worst part is we have our maternity photos THIS weekend!! Jw if neone else is or has been dealing with something similar?!

I usually don't get cold sores, but got one in my nose while in Hawaii a few weeks ago. Then got sick when I got back. I can't remember the last time I was sick before getting pregnant. I'm 19+5 and have been sick 3 times since getting pregnant :-(
Carmex works really good for cold sores always takes mine away the fastest!!
The cold sore virus is usually dormant unless your body is stessed. I get them every time I get a cold! I'm 21 weeks and got on last week because I wasn't sleeping enough and got sick. Unfortunately your body is under alot of strain when pregnant which can bring them on in a heartbeat. They are many treatments like patches to cover them, creams etc but they take time to heal either way. I know they suck so much. I hate them with a passion. :( hope it clears up for you soon.
