thyroid disease and pregnancy

Does anyone else have thyroid disease and is in their first trimester? Scared to death that it will hurt the baby and that I will blow up from to much weight gain. ***sighs***

I also have hypothyroidism and i'm a ftm 5weeks and 2days haven't seen my on yet not until August 5 waiting for my insurance to update my pcp be I can even get it with her Atlanta healthcare ***** nobody cares if you're pregnant or not all they care about is getting paid so I just have to wait but i'm still taking my synthroid that was giving to me by my doc in n.y i'm on 100mcg. Good luck

U have a hypothyroidism ..I had to see a specialist thyroid doc who put my on higher meds as ur levels change when pregnant and u need a higher dose ..im 37+4 now and I feel fine just make sure u keep taking them!

My mom has thyroid disease since she was a kid and a 4 healthy kids. As long as u take ur meds u should be fine and ur baby.
