Ok so can I just say that pregnancy goes for 10 months not 9! And if you just count every 4 seeks as a month it works out

Most doctors and websites go by lunar months(28 days) and not calendar months (30-31 days) to be more accurate. Also because implantation occurs on different days for everyone, it's easier to count pregnancy starting from the day of your last period...which adds up to 2 weeks that you're not technically pregnant. Long story short...pregnancy in the health world really isn't exactly 9 months and because of the aforementioned reasons...our weeks and trimesters are measured slightly different than common sense would normally dictate.

Why dont people actually go by the number of the month? Like im dec 22nd so on oct 22nd I will be 7 months. Nov 22nd 8 months and finally dec 22 9 months lol. Its easier that way and makes more sense considering pregnancy is 9 months

That's wrong its what gege_gen said.. Every four weeks you turn another month. In three weeks you will be 5 months!
