constipated and hurting

Any methods please,  the doctor wanted me to do milk since I'm gestational diabetes but I'm also lactose intolerant and now constipated I took a stool softener 6 hours ago, drank close to 2 bottles of water,  holding food down for now but I need remedys please

Drinking water is definitely going to help but you should be drinking a lot more on a regular basis. Try a big bowl of shredded wheat too!!

Prune juice with capful of milk of mag.

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. Drink prune juice.  It's awful but it works! It has also stood the test of time.

I just talked to my doctors nurse and she said same,  Ty for helping me as well,  I'm glad I'm not alone.. ... I really hate hemeroids lol

Milk of magnesia should work. I have been constipated and took some yesterday. I had water come out but I am like blocked off so it was liquefied poop coming around the blockage and I will need to repeat for a couple of days to get it all out.

The problem is,  I have hemeroids really bad and closed up,  nothing can get through.

Try drinking some warm/hot water.  Maybe with some lemon. Kind of like tea!  Helps me sometimes.
