Sjpolo we aren't meaning to give crazy answers but if you called my practice you would've been brought in. Babies that young don't get constipated easily and you don't want to miss something like an intassusception.... You can also take a rectal temp, sometimes that can help stimulate them.
Heavenlyhash lol thanks ill try both but he doesn't seem uncomfortable I just noticed he hasn't pooped
Bring him to the doctors ASAP
Lol... Give him massages my daughter didn't poop everyday either... Aslong as he is comfortable there isn't an issue.... But if he does start getting squirmish get a qtip and put Vaseline on it and just put it around his bum hole... But belly massages are the best!! Good luck mama
I talked to my pediatrician and he said if it's only been 2 days hes ok and they don't poop after every feeding. Sometime I ask myself why do I ask this app. Ppl have crazy answers
Massage his belly in a clock wise and counter clockwise motion, do a bicycle with his legs and start giving him probiotic powder. It helps regulate their digestive systems. I got mine at sprouts farmers market. It's for infants and children.
Yes definitely agree with knufrio. That is not a good thing. He needs checked out. Hope the poor little guy is ok.
At 6 days old baby is usually not constipated and just isn't getting enough... Call your pediatrician. Under 1 month of age babies should be producing at least 4-6 (minimum) dirty diapers a day. Usually baby needs to be checked if they aren't going because there could be another underlying issue. -PEDs nurse
Mine did that also no worries at all mine time me half oz of apple juice to half of water or 1 and 1 let him drink what he will take.
Call his pediatrician. He is suppose to be pooping after each feeding! Waiting this long he could get sick being so small. Hope all goes well.
