I have IBS, general pregnancy constipation and constipation as a side effect from the medication I am on for my Hyperemesis. I'm 38 weeks and this has been an issue my entire pregnancy. I've tried it ALL and nothing worked. I was even rushed to the hospital after not being able to go for 14 DAYS!!! Per the doctor and my home care nurse, I have to give myself an enema every 3 days and that's been Heaven sent. It's a Fleet Saline Enema and it's safe! That the brand they use for pregnant women in the hospital and it works IMMEDIATELY!!!

Prunes and water. Only thing with prunes that I noticed is that it's going to take at least 10 to effectively work.

Ugh!!! The joys of pregnancy :/ I am not a coffee drinker, so when I get constipated I drink coffee and it usually does the trick. Also, watch what you're eating. Don't want to be eating too much cheese...that doesn't help in this situation

Oh my dear I was there and felt your pain. Call your doc tomorrow, I was able to use miralax and a stool softener to do the trick. Have you be backed up for long?!
