I'm 20 weeks and have had same problem since 4 weeks. I used to go every morning, now it's every 4-5 days as long as I keep my fiver up, if I lack a good amount of fiver for a day or two then I can go well over a week with out going. I take something called fiver gel twice a day which is basically an orange flovoured soluble fiber that you mix with water and drink. It helps to keep everything soft so you don't strain and keeps things moving.

Thanks! I'm trying to not take anything over the counter to make me more miserable, if that's even possible.. Between my asthma & the horrible pain when I cough.. It totally ***** atm thanks again ladies!
Milk of magnesium is pregnancy safe too. Be careful what you try and if cramps can be a side effect it might start labor.
Double check with your OB/Midwife just to be safe. Mine has basically any laxative style medication on the 'not without calling me first' list
