My doctor recommended Miralax which is a gentle stool softener.  I was pretty uncomfortable and very constipated...the Miralax helps sooooo much!  Feel better:-)

I've read a post recently where a woman swore by chocolate milk made with the powdered Nesquik. She thought it wouldn't help but wound up moving like a speeding train after. That's my plan of action when I get there. Also ask your doctor about stool softeners. That helped with my first child.

I've been extremely constipated this round. I have took ducolax 2x, it definitely helps you go but it gave me the worst stomach cramps ever. I'd say try eating raisin bran cereal and try colace that's what I'm turning too! Good luck!

I think you should ask your dr about laxatives and stool softeners first. That shouldn't be your go-to even when you're not pregnant. But ask anyways. I drink a glass of prune juice everyday and when it get bad, fiber supplements.

Warm prune juice, colace (stool softener), dulcolax (mild laxative), miralax, I've also ready chocolate milk. Good luck. I had that problem around week 14 and colace and dulcolax finally got me going again. Plus drinking lots of water and walking.

You can try dry pitted prunes. I try n take a few each day to prevent me from becoming constipated. Eat like 5 to get u to go soon then eat like a few each day. That helped me.
