Non-dairy smoothies help me. I sometimes make a strawberry smoothie with a little lemon and lime concentrate, I'll use greens every once in a while. This makes me go within an hour of drinking it, without fail. I was also recommended by my Dr to drink a gallon of water a day, once I got on a schedule doing that I'm able to go every morning. I never had much luck with stool softeners. It can be miserable, good luck.
In the beginning of my pregnancy I used my toddlers potty chair to put my feet on while I was on the toilette it worked wonders!!!
Prune juice was the only thing that worked for me.
I take miralax. My doc says its fine to take. If im really constipated i will double dose. If i take it daily i usually go 5-6x a week. And drink a ton of water, and getting in a walk most days helps me as well. Im 18 weeks and have had very bad constipation, so i know the feeling!! Those are my tricks, hope it helps!!!
