contractions or not?!

Hey ladies,  I'm 27 weeks n I  been having this tightness in my stomach.  My stomach get tight for a minute or so then relaxes. This my first child n don't know if this is contraction. It started few weeks ago. My Dr said is ok if it happens once every hour. I'm so scared

I never had those. .but for me contractions felt like I had to go #2. I was actually in labor and didn't know it..I thought I was constipated..it just so happened that I was being induced that day and when the nurse hooked me up to the monitor she asked me if I felt it.. I said yeah I'm constipated she said no honey that was a contraction.. lol. It was nice to give the nurses a good laugh..

Braxton hicks just drink water and massage it that way it goes away.. its normal unless yu get pain

those are Braxton hicks. I get them too and had them with my first daughter. having a full bladder or being dehydrated can sometimes cause it as well. they are very common in the second and third trimesters.

its normal. it happens to me too im 26 wks 27 on friday. but it happens really often to me.
