contractions stopped wtf?

So disappointed I'm 38 wks today and last night had some very painful contractions 15-20 mins apart for quite a few hours (7 pm-1am ) they eased off a bit and I finally fell asleep at 3 thinking labor was near and today nothing :( just the aftermath of sore from the night before. Anyone else had this am I atleast close?????

Yea I'm frustrated too. Baby measuring almost 2 weeks early,  and I'm having just Braxton hicks I guess. I'm 37 weeks ftm and i feel in my heart baby be here by next week, but now I don't know; ( we aren't finding out sex so it's hard bc so close we can't wait.

I had the same thing, these contractions help you dilate and efface, don't get to discouraged

I'm trying but omg contractions hurt and the hospital said there real contractions but I'm just not active labor and that they can keep like this for a few weeks. Gahhh

I'm 38 wweeks 6 days today, no contractions just achy down there... Probably not time yet. Hang on...we r almost there
