contractions...

So I ended up in the emergency room last night due to baby nearly giving me a heart attack (not literally) and not moving much all day, hes usually VERY active day in day out. I have been having contractions and they registered on the monitor, all the doc said was "oh". I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow. Could this be pointing to early labor any time soon or earlier than expected? They were about half of the little chart on the paper. This is my 3rd, and never has anything like this with my other 2 pregnancies... any insight would be great!!

On the chart thingy, it was up halfway. They weren't bad ones, as in pain wise. But just a little confused at the docs reaction. "Oh". Just kinda blows my mind.

How big they are on the chart doesn't mean they are more intense and there so to worry. Even the little tiny dips on those charts indicate contractions, the smaller dips usually are stronger. That being said you did the right thing and if they are concerned they will keep you or stop the contractions. Bh contractions register as well and those can start as early as 16w.
