Can braxton hicks turn into real labor? I don't ever recall having them with my other kids, and all my labors were totally different with each kidi don't even recall how it all feels, guess that's why I'm on baby 4 lol

My braxton hicks got stronger and stronger the closer I got to the due date. They were pretty uncomfortable. Labor contractions can vary person to person but generally will be a lot of pain. I describe as very strong period type cramp that is very localized. Labor contractions generally will be continously regular throughout the day getting closer and closer

As my doc tells me, if there's no pain pay them no mind lol drink water put your feet up and or a bath and they should go away. Just our bodies way of practicing. :-) When they hurt and are at regular intervals and they keep getting more painful is then they're real :-) good luck mamas

I'm wondering the same thing. I am currently 30 weeks, first pregnancy. I have read a lot about Braxton Hicks contractions that are supposed to feel just like painless tightening of the uterus which is probably what you're experiencing. I experience similar feeling but I am having a difficult time to discribe it, it does feel like tightening but not quite and mostly on my upper side of the uterus. Hope other moms can share some of their experience.Good luck to you!

It could be braxton hicks if its not painful. Of they come and go with no pattern and really spaced out then it is. Drink plenty of fluids and rest
