contractions?
Just to prepare myself, and i know everyone is different, can anyone tell me in comparison what contractions feel like? Im 32 weeks 4 days and know what the braxton hicks feel like but i want to mentally prepare for the real thing.

Well, I will describe my experience with them in two ways. With my first, I was young and had not experienced any period cramps before. So, when people said they feel like strong period cramps, I was still unprepared. To me, at that time, they ended up feeling like extremely strong cramps for a bowel movement. The kind you get when you have an extremely upset tummy but more intense.
Now, however, I have experienced painful menstrual cramps, and people described it pretty accurately. It is a very very strong period cramp feeling that goes into your lower back and also extends higher in your abdomen than a normal period cramp. I hope that helped some.
