Im 36 weeks and 2 days. I have a scheduled c section for November 17th. But today throughout the day i feel a tightening in the lower part of my stomach its uncomfortable but its not real strong and dosent last for more then about 6 seconds.
Braxton hicks will open your cervix if you are ready. I had tons of contraction months before labor and was working yet, dilated to 5 cm.

No, not generally. Some people feel them as early as 20 weeks and they're often a side effect of not drinking enough water. It's just your body's way of practicing for the real thing.

Its just braxton hicks contractions. Totally normal and they will increase as you get closer to your due date.
