VBAC

Hello Ladies,
Has anyone considered or had VBAC? I've had to c-section one because my daughter was breeched and the other because the hospital didn't believe in VBAC.

Ok thank you I will have to see what my specialists say when I get to see them. I'll try not to get my hopes up to much and will keep reading more about it on Google. Thank you again

Kklove2630 My doctor said there is no way to check your internal scar. I actually had to get my OR records released from the last hospital (I live in a different state) so that my current doctor could find out whether or not my internal incision was horizontal. I was told that if it is vertical you absolutely cannot try to VBAC. That's just what I was told though.

I'm going for a vbac. I've had 3 normal births the an emergency c section at 32 weeks due to placenta previa rupture. My placenta in the right place this time so hopefully I can have a vbac.

Anyone heard about having a scan to.see how thick your c section scan is I read it on here the other day.

If it's to thin you have to have a section again

I'll be having a VBAC if she doesn't come any day now lol I'll be induced Tuesday the 21st, I'm really excited and sire things should go great but of course I'm nervous. There are a few things when being induced, like they won't let you go over 41 weeks with VBAC and you can not take a certain induce treatment... But good luck!!!! Try it out hon.

Im hoping for a vbac as well. With my son i was fully dialated and i was able to push but he wouldn't come. Once his heart rate began to drop they did the c-section. Hopefully i wont have to have another.

My first was an emergency c-section at 32 weeks due to preeclampsia. I didn't experience any labor that time. I've since had 4 successful, natural VBAC's. It can be tricky getting doctors and hospitals to support you in this endeavor. But honestly, I attribute most of my success to the power of prayer. Heavenly Father knew it was important to me and blessed me in many ways to make my VBAC'S possible. Hope you can experience that same success!

I am going for a VBAC! 39 weeks tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have a good story here soon. My csection was only due to placenta previa, so the doctor is very confident that I will be successful. (Since I never had issues with the labor not progressing in time.) I never even had a contraction with my last pregnancy because (I was told) I would have bled out from the placent ripping.
My csection was scheduled & it was the most terrifying & disappointing experiences of my life... Not to mention the 6 month recovery & pain in my back for the past almost 2 years) that is from possible nerve damage due to the spinal block. I really want this VBAC because I just don't think I can deal with a toddler and another csection recovery like that.

I am trying for a VBAC since my son was an emergency c section, I got fully dilated and had the chance to push, but he had the cord around his neck twice...i am a candidate, but they don't know if my hips can expand as wide as they need to...i hill have a 3 yr old to chase around as well and desire to have a much smoother recovery...emergency c sections are awful to recover from

We are attempting it. The only reason i had an emergency c section was because my daughter was breech and ended up getting stuck in the birth canal. I dilated and everything on my own. So my doctor actually recommend ed a VBAC. So hoping it goes well. I am hopefully that it will work and i wont have so much recovering since I now have a 2 1/2 year old to chase around.
