I'm having pretty consistent mild contractions. I guess my question is: if they're not really painful are they real? They're uncomfortable and I can definitely feel them but nothing like what I "thought" going into labor would feel like... i am 39wks and theyre about 7min apart... thoughts?

With both of my kids I had the same thing I waited until I was 5 mins apart for 2 hours and then went in. If they are consistent and gradually get closer sounds like real labor. Congrats! Oh by the way they do get worst it is just the beginning.
It sounds like you're in labor... I think the more frequent they get, the stronger they'll get. You should call your Dr.
