Hi ladies, I just recovered from a sore throat and now having a bad dry cough. Didn't sleep well too. I'm reaching week 10 tomorrow. Just thinking if coughing hard will harm the fetus.. or any remedies to recommend? Thanks in advance!
I had the same problem. I told my dr. And he prescribed me a zpac. Its an antibiotic andvit worked wonders. Im 36 weeks now and babys healthy and active!
Coughing won't hurt the fetus
During the beginning of my pregnancy I had the nastiest cough with mucus. Eww. My cough lasted about a good 3 weeks. Felt like forever. I didn't take any medicine but I did make home remedies that consisted of teas with lemon, honey, garlic, and chayanne pepper. Google cough remedies and they give you information on how to make them and what ingredients. Now I am 11 weeks and no cough in sight.
