couldnt tell babys sex :/

I had an u/s at 20 weeks and the baby decided to keep his/her gender hidden. I'm 27+1 today, I have an appt this week and will hopefully be scheduled for another u/s at my next appt in 2 weeks. I never considered not being able to find out the sex. Anyone else have a stubborn baby? Did they do another u/s just to try and find out for you? Anyone never able to find out? I'd like to start calling my baby by name and I wanna be able to buy SOME gender specific items. I'm running out of time and getting nervous.

mine did. when i went to my 20w she just kept her legs shut. she moved all over the place.but wouldnt open thoes legs. i had to have another one 2weeks later bc it was medically nessesary and i drank a big glass of oj (worse heartburn ever) but she moved all over and the doc got a great look that time.

My second refused to show himself in his first ultrasound but in his second (medically necessary not just to recheck gender) he spread wide open for the tech lol. Our first pregnancy we chose not to find out the gender and be suprised. We had both a girl and boy name picked. I admit i got a little bored with the gender neutral colors but in the end the sweet surprise was worth all the green yellow and white we had to put up with :-)

With my first, I had three ultrasounds done. I even paid to have one that the insurance didn't pay for. My little one kept her legs closed each time. Don't buy anything Gender specific, and enjoy your surprise. Good luck.
