cyst

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I have a 5cm cyst on my left ovary. I was told if it did not go away that i would need surgery later in the pregnancy. I am 5ft tall at 107 pounds (I was 103)... I wanted to know if there is food I should eat to help reduce it or things I should do?..so scared

I had cysts dermoid cysts when I was younger and if your cyst keeps growing and causing issues then they will have to do something but they can't till your at least in your second trimester ....I would juat make sure they keep an eye on it it can burst if its one that possibly can if not then it can keep growing and cause pain ...if it can wait till after babys born I would to do surgery ...good luck

I had 2 complex cysts on my ovary, as well. They monitored it & said if it caused issues with the baby's growth, I'd have to see a specialist, or it'd rupture & I'd know because it's painful. The good news is that for some reason it slowly decreased & was no longer a concern. If surgery is the only option they're giving you, I'd get a 2nd opinion.
