I had 6 months of nappies by the time my son was born. After that we started using cloth. Now may only get 1 box for hospital and early days. With my boy, I was going through nearly 100 nappies a week to start with. He wad a true poop machine!
I'm goin start in November with diapers due in march
I always seem to find cases of newborn diapers for super cheep at rummage sales. That being said, we do cloth diapers (after the first month or two) if your not familiar with newer cloth diapers - they are definitely worth looking into! Ask for diapers for your baby shower though for sure!
Definitely stalk up now when you see sales. I wouldn't get too many newborn diapers they grow so quick my son only used a few
You can get them now and take advantage of sales. Get some different brands of newborns in small bags. This is how I discovered what fit best and found out what brand caused diaper rash. I returned those no problem because I only usedbtwo of them. That may not work at another store. I'd say 100-200 of each size to start. You end up needing more than that. 10 diapers a day after the first week. I recommend registering and putting diapers on the registry. This made returns for new sizes or brands easy.
