I had ten stitches five on each side of my vagina from my daughter she weighed 7'15 and had 13centimeter head she was my biggest baby and im currently pregnant with my fourth child

I tore sideways with my first. And he was only 4 lbs 9 oz.  And the doctor just did one long stitch on either side. But I guess she did good bc i've never had complaints since birth lol

Third degree lacerations with my 6.3 son. Definitely changed things down there, but obviously not too much, since I'm preggo with #2, lol.

I had to get stitches. Three i believe but i just had my appointment for six week.check up and he said its like i didnt even tear ! My son was little too only 5lbs 15oz

Is there anything you can do to avoid or at a minimum decrease the severity of tearing?

Vagina didn't get ruined but it hurt so bad having sex again,  I was tighter than what I was when I was a virgin!! My boy was 6.6

I teared all the way to frm up to dwn, my bby was 6 lbs not big normal, and afterwards it was not the same dwn there w my second I only teared upside same 6 lbs and doctor did really good job I feel normal now I hope I'm lucky this time around and I get stiched good lol since its last

I tore all the way down, in the birthing canal and up and around my urethra into my outer labia and its now been over three years and after the first year I could not tell at all that it had happened

Eeww yeah thats why I want a csection! Did your vagina go back to normal after that? I'm a first time mom and scared to death of tearing. That has to ruin your vagina.

I don't know what degree I got tore bnut with my first child I ripped all the way to my butt hole ouch :/
