difference between spotting and bleeding?

I "bled" red blood for a few days then it turned brown then back to red after sex. I am not even filling up a panty liner in 24 hrs. The "cramping" feels like mild period cramps. My hcg levels were slow to rise but eventually started to double. No sac was seen on on ultrasound I am supposed to be 7wks today. Ultrasound also revealed a "cyst" on my ovary. Anyone else experience this? Good or bad?

They say bright red blood is a bad sign. I've had spotting and cramping on n off for the past 6 wks but mine is from a hematoma. I have fibroids n a cyst its called a corpus luteum cyst it forms on the ovary the baby comes from my doctor said everyone had them they provide nutrients to the baby until the placenta takes over.

Maybe it got back to red because you had sex, I know that I was around 7 weeks pregnant and I was bleeding and passing blood clot and when I went to the er the Dr told me that I'm not supposed to have sex if I'm bleeding cause it makes it worse, and my hcg levels weren't doubling like they were supposed to, and now I'm almost 19 weeks and everything is good, thank God, so just relax mama, and I don't think is a good idea to have sex now

I had brown spotting and then red blood, so I rushed over to urgent care. They checked everything and said all looked great. I think that happened at 5/6 weeks. I'm now 11 weeks and both of my babies are doing great :)

The waiting is the worst bit. Ive had a 2 miscarriages- the blood test will give the answers you need. Each of mine were very different. Take encouragement that I now have 2 precious kiddos and a third on the way. Chin up, the sisterhood is here for you.

Thanks. It's hard not to stress. This will be my 2nd miscarriage but I remember it being very different. So I try to stay positive. I go tomorrow to see if my levels went up and another ultrasound. I go in expecting the worst. I hate this. Just want it to be over one way or the other.

The only advice I can give is to get your levels checked again. My first two ended in miscarriages my levels rose to about 7,000 then started to drop I also experienced the bleeding after intercorse and mild cramping at first the ultrasound showed a sac and yolk but no baby at 5/6 weeks and a cyst on my right ovary but please don't stress until you get real medical answers.

This same thing happened to me during a miscarriage. I've had a total of five pregnancies including 3 miscarriages. They did not see a sac in the ultrasound, so thought it could be a tubal, but dis not find anything but a cyst on my ovary, which ended up bursting and put me in the hospital for a coue days. I'm sorry if this is what is going on, I hope its not. Good luck
