different sweeps?

I went to my dr today and asked her to do a sweep. She said she would do a small sweep this week and then a full sweep next week at 38 weeks. I didn't know there was a difference in sweeps?

Ok that makes sense. I was just confused as to the difference.  So now here i am sitting and bouncing on my yoga ball eating pineapple and drinking orange juice and we are having sex tonight too.  I am so done. I am in unbearable pain all day every day and it's to the point where I can't drive cause I can't move my leg to the gas and break without extreme pain I will try anything at this point. I need my body back before I completely lose it and can't be the mommy this baby deserves

A sweep is when they release the membranes that connect your cervix to the amniotic sac. Your still early so a light sweep only separates some of the membranes instead of a full sweep where they separate all membranes. A light sweep will hopefully get things going for you in a sense that naturally your body will progress faster on its own.
