dilated?

Anyone dilating early? I'm 36 weeks and I felt like I would be starting to dilate but nope. Got checked today, the doctor said I'm still closed but cervix is thinning out.

Im 37 wks n 4d but the doc never checked me he told me next week n what happens if they dont ima be pissed cause i was hopin for them to check me n my luck got turned down so they better not let me down again. I need to know if i even started dilatin or not just for my sake. I really want my baby asap but i guess being patient is the best thing to do for a healthly baby.

I've heard that ultrasounds after 34 weeks have shown an increased risk if harm to the baby. My doctor will only check if you want him too,but it's up to you. They do not do any ultrasounds at this point unless something is seriously wrong

When I was in the hospital for pre term labor they told me they could also check by ultrasound because checking too much could disturb the cervix

I was checked at 32 weeks and was dilated 1cm and 75% effaced now being 34 weeks today I feel ive dilated a little more.  But my doctor is checking me from now on until I go in labor.  High risk for having a premie and im already in early labor.

Last time I was checked (32 weeks) I was 1cm 50% effaced. My Dr will check me next week (37 weeks) but I kind of want to wait and be surprised!
